A Brochure Website on Shopify
When we started working with Shopify a few years ago it did one thing well - the checkout was amazing. That's extremely important in e-commerce and was enough reason for me to start moving all my clients to Shopify. Their websites all looked more or less the same - boxy and fairly simple. The homepage could be modified, but inner pages were prescriptive and it was more hassle than it was worth to try and change them. You couldn't even build a nice landing page.
In January 2026, for the first time, we decided Shopify would work for a brochure (non e-commerce) website. It had evolved to the point where we believe it is now a better solution than WordPress, SquareSpace, or Wix even if you don't want to sell anything. This website was designed and branded (including the logo) by our in-house designer Paul. He choose the colours and font to match Sylvia's vision for her business. Laura in Perfidious Albert did most of the content and editing, and Ruairi built the website.
At the time of writing this we have engaged with Mark Duffy Photography in Dundalk to take authentic photographs for this website. By March 2026 they should be in place and the website I believe will be the best looking medical services website on the island of Ireland.
